Well, after 3 weeks, I’ve just about recovered from the bridal shower I hosted for my daughter. And since I didn’t use that time-worn sentiment for the cake, I couldn’t resist using it for the title of my post.
Here is what I put on the cake instead:
It was a fun day, and worth all the time and effort we put into it. It was a day of laughter and a few happy tears. A day of looking back on treasured memories, and a day to look forward to new memories.
